The first innovator committed to Propagate Health is Laura Strong PhD who has more than 15 years of operational, strategic, and clinical development experience in biopharmaceutical drug discovery and development.As President and Chief Operating Officer of Quintessence, she was responsible for advancing the company’s proprietary cancer therapies through human clinical trials to market. A major component of this work was the development and execution of a regulatory and clinical strategy for a protein-based cancer therapeutic.  Further, she developed customer and collaborator relationships with pharmaceutical and biotech companies.

Laura served as an advisor to HealthMyne, directing the pharma strategy for the development of quantitative imaging in oncology. Laura is an adjunct faculty member in the Masters in Biotechnology program at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and serves on the boards of a variety of small private companies. Laura writes about cancer drug development, equity investing and other relevant topics at her blog as well as on Twitter as @SciEntre (Scientist-Entrepreneur).

Laura serves as mentor for companies through both MATTER in Chicago as well as Madison Entrepreneur Resource, Learning and Innovation Network (MERLIN). She has served as President of the Board of Directors for BioForward, the biotechnology association for Wisconsin.  As an NIH fellow, Laura earned a Ph.D. in organic chemistry at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She is co-author of 18 publications and inventor on 10 issued United States patents.
